* Please note that due to overwhelming demand, we cannot follow up on the status of your music consideration.
How do I know what's playing on any specific channel?
Most distributors offer the on-screen display that allows you to see the information about the song that is currently playing, such as the title of the piece, the name of the performer or group, the title of the CD, the name of the record label and the reference number and also the composer or other related information. The Galaxie website at galaxie.tv also has a listing of all songs played in the last 24 hours for each of the Galaxie channels.

How do I subscribe to Galaxie?
You can subscribe to Galaxie's music channels across the U.S. through various service providers. It is included on the basic service of some digital cable, satellite TV and IPTV distributors.

How much does Galaxie cost?
Each distributor offers a different package and the cost varies from one to another. Most distributors (cable, satellite and IPTV) have opted to make Galaxie part of their basic digital TV package. We recommend that you contact your TV distributor for pricing details.

Can I subscribe to all the channels?
It depends on the package offered by your distributor. Please contact your distributor.

How is the music programmed?
Music experts put their talents to work to program Galaxie's channels. They are true music fans with a vast knowledge of musical trends and audience listening preferences. Using sophisticated computer programs, they constantly update their programming to ensure a captivating, always-changing mix of the very best music. There is no block programming that repeats itself and no random playing.

Galaxie also works closely with the record companies to stay on top of the latest developments in the music industry. It is thanks to the support of the music industry that Galaxie can feature a very extensive selection of music.

Can Galaxie use the blank spaces on-screen?
For reasons beyond our control, Galaxie is currently very limited with the number of characters and lines of information it can use. The reason is that part of the on-screen display set-up is controlled by each distributor. Therefore, Galaxie is using the maximum space allowed on-screen by each distributor, which includes only the information about what's playing. As technology changes and improves, we are working with each of our several distributors to improve our on-screen information presentation.
Can I get a playlist?
Galaxie cannot provide you with a playlist as Galaxie has an arrangement with the Music Industry not to provide such a list in order to discourage piracy. You can consult the last 24 hours of songs played on each channel at galaxie.tv.
Can I make some special requests?
Galaxie always welcomes your suggestions. Your special requests help us to continually improve the service. However, due to the very sophisticated system we use, the number of titles we play, the fact we broadcast a single-time release over five and a half time zones, and the millions of subscribers who listen to Galaxie all over North America, it is difficult to specify when a song will be played or if it's already part of the extensive playlist.

Can I buy music that is played on Galaxie?
Currently, Galaxie does not offer the option of an online music store. We are working on offering you this service.  Most of the songs played on the Galaxie channels can be found in the most popular online music retailers.
How to enjoy Galaxie on your stereo system?
To better enjoy Galaxie, hook up your television set-top to your sound system or wireless speakers!
It's easy, follow these simple steps:
Note that whether you subscribe to satellite, cable or IPTV, the method of connecting to your stereo is the same.

Step 1.
a) Using audio cables connect your set-top's"AUDIO OUT" ports to the Stereo Amplifier's matching "AUDIO IN" ports.
b) If you have a Home Theatre system, you may use the available "AUDIO IN/ AUX" CD, DVD, VCR, or even TAPE ports, however, do not use the PHONO input since it is the wrong impedance.

Step 2.
On the front control panel of your stereo (input selector), select the chosen input source and… enjoy!
Turn your TV on if you want to know what's playing (i.e. Title, Artist, Album etc)
